How can I schedule a tour?
Tours are offered weekday mornings year-round by appointment. You can reserve your personal tour by contacting our admissions office at 703-281-7747 or email admissions@appletreefairfax.com. If you are unable to tour during the morning, or if you are coming from out of town, please let us know so we can do our best to accommodate you while also balancing the needs of our students.
Do you offer part-time programs?
We do not offer part-week programs, but we do offer an academic day option that is for the hours of 9am-3pm or a full day option that provides care from 7am-6pm.
What world specialty classes do you teach?
The children have weekly time in Spanish, Music, and PE. The four years olds have class rotations with classes based on language arts, math, art, character education and science.
Do you offer lunch and snacks?
The preschool students have lunch, morning and afternoon snack included in tuition for students who are enrolled for the full-day option. Lunch is provided for students in the academic day option. Academy students are expected to bring their lunch or they can purchase lunch through the PTO lunch option outlined at the beginning of each school year.
What is your religious affiliation?
While we are not affiliated with any single church or religion, Appletree is a Christian school with a strong character education program that appeals to families of varied beliefs and backgrounds. We teach about two values each month and revisit these each year. Students, teachers and families commit to follow our code of courtesy which stresses respecting and honoring traditions and beliefs of all people.
