April Values

Courage and Tolerance

During the month of April, our school focus for Character Education is learning about courage and tolerance.  Helping children to see the value in taking risks and how you may be able to achieve more than you ever thought you could by having courage is part of the message. Additionally, tolerance for those all around us and accepting those that we consider different from yourself is another highlighted point. We can all learn from one another by sharing and celebrating our differences. It takes courage for our first, second and third graders to share their book reports to the whole class.
